Amarás Mezcal

“El mezcal se bebe a besos,” (“mezcal is drank by kissing it”) my grandpa, and probably so many other grandparents, have repeated this phrase to their children and grandchildren. Changing “shot culture” into a more refined way of tasting and experiencing mezcal could change the way it is perceived and correctly position its bottles next to the expensive whiskey, bourbon, cognac bottles they are now beginning to be compared to.
